Spambot Attack

Well, the spambots have evolved from nonsense words to the next logical step: medicine advertisements.
I'm pretty sure I can stop them, or at least stop the method they're currently employing of fooling the site into thinking they're logged in. Of course, then they'll realise that they don't need to be logged in, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Also, they've found a way of preventing anyone from deleting their comments using the site.
Oh well. I have access to the SQL database, so...

As you've probably not noticed at all, and completely forgotten what the previous fleye looked like, there's a new fleye at the top of the page. If you need your memory jogged, the previous fleye is here.

You've probably noticed the not-so-shiny comment links at the bottom of entries, and you're right to do so.
However, they're not all that's new, because with the comment system came the ability to port over to Real Rants, and force GAZOKBLOG to fulfill its namesake by being an actual blog.
Of course, the system isn't perfect, because as both my first PHP project and a brand new system, there will be a lot of kinks to beat out, such as the way the page lengthens permanently whenever you open a comment box (don't believe me? Open and close them all and scroll to the bottom of the page. See that empty space?)

I now have Adobe CS3 (actually, I've had it for the past month, but I've been unable to add anything to the site due to schoolwork and such), so expect some quick results over the next couple of weeks. Hell, who knows, I might actually finish the site some time soon.

You may think I have been lazy or negligent over the last two months. Negligence is certainly a part of it, but the main reason for my absense is the aquisition of a new computer, and the loss of both Macromedia 8 and Adobe CS2. I am currently looking into buying CS3, but it's slightly outside of my current price range. I have an article planned, however, and I may well create it on notepad, if all other venues are lost to me.

Wassup GazokBloggers?
I’m Matt an admin here at GazokBlog and thought I’d say a little hello.
So... clearly the question that is burning inside of you is 'Who am I?' Well, here goes:
Who am I?
My full name is Matthew Herbert, usually known as Matt, I'm 14 years old and pushing 15, I live in the Cotswolds, England and I'm currently in High School and have interests in Graphic design, Computing and Drama, all of which I'm clearly awesome at... or maybe not.
My main hobby or even passion is gaming, I've played a few games in my time but I'm currently playing World of Warcraft a.k.a WoW and have some plans for that which I may just keep you posted on.
I also went semi-pro on Rainbow Six Vegas but sadly bust my arm and that took a little to long to heal up to get back on track.
I love the internet and the freedom of communication it brings, I have a fair amount of experiencing running and helping to run Forums so hopefully won’t mess things up too badly :P
Anyway, that’s about all I can think of, so have fun and behave.
